Connotation Images

In groups of 3 we all took pictures matching different emotions and themes. 

 Poverty: In this image I captured the poverty by using Laura as a model and Laura being alone in the corner shows that she has no money. This is helped by the natural lighting which ended up putting a shadow over The model which gave her the look that she doesn't have that much money. The yellow of the scene contrasts with the dark shadows.

 Friendship: In this image friendship is shown through the two friends exchanging a coconversationThe shot was taken at a high angle to show there close relationship so that both of the people are shown.

Wealth: In this picture the image has not been taken statically. It is in a unique placement to state that inside the wallet is a lot of money which gives myself the model this out of World and extraordinary feeling. The gold hue gives this wealthy look.

Purity: The Image shows purity through most of the tiles being dirty and gritty whilst there is that one in the center that stands out as it is wet giving it this pure look. This shot was taken through a high angle shot.

Weakness: The weakness is shown through a Dutch angle close up. This really shows the emotion in the models face, and that there is no escape from this weakness. You see nothing about this character so you know nothing about him which gives this mysterious feel.

Greed: This image is shown in a medium shot and the medium shot shows this person just throwing away money and laughing about it like it's nothing and that if it's wasted he's got plenty of money left.

Strength: In this picture it's obvious from the weight that it is strength but the addition of the low angle shot gives this imposing look. The model is wearing typical clothes a strong person would wear.

Love: To show love we didn't go with the stereotypical definition of love. We went with someone's love for something that means a lot to them. This is justified with the cat on the screen.

Loneliness: In this picture we have two models which shows two lonely people. There is one person in the foreground and another in the background. Showing that anyone can be lonely even when other people are around.

Desire: For Desire we shot it with an Over The Shoulder shot. To get this feeling of anxiety and this feeling that it is dark in a way. The clothing is plain so you get no sense of character or motive.

Fear: For fear we partially covered the model with the door and poster. Giving this impression that this person is trying to hide from something.
