Production diary production

Monday 3rd November: Today I got the majority of the storyboards done. I got about 17 shots drawn in detail with an accompanying description of the shots.

Tuesday 4th November: Today I location scouted the coffee shop and cafeteria for the production.
And I came up with a title for the production. 'Coffee shop madness'.

Wednesday 5th November: Today I started to write the production schedule and all of the pre-production is nearly over.

Thursday 6th November: Today the recces, release forms and storyboards were finished.

Monday 10th November: Today we checked over all of the pre production paper work.

Tuesday 11th Novemeber: Today was the first day of filming, we filmed in the cafeteria. Even though herd was a lot of people the environment was controlled. We got the first six shots filmed.

Wedensday 12th November: Today we shot the final four shots in the short film, it went quite well, despite reshooting a shot on Monday.

Thursday 13th November: Today we shot the final inside scenes on this day after lunch.

Monday 17th November: Today we put the clips that we had done so far on the computers.

Tuesday 18th November: Today we reshot the outside shots that weren't good enough.

Wednesday 19th November: Today we reshot a few final insides shots. This was the last day of filming.

Thursday 20th November: Today we put all of the clips on to the macs and we put the clips on to Adobe Premier Pro to begin editing. 

Monday 24th November: Today we put all of the clips into chronological order to see how it would look  all together, we began trimming down the clips in the short.

Tuesday 25th November: Today we trimmed all the clips in the short and it all added up to being 90 seconds long. And I started to colour correct the footage. 

Wednesday 26th November: Today I finished colour correcting the short.

Thursday 27th November: Today we did the soundtrack to 'The Coffee Shop' and we synched it up to the clip, finished editing and we exported the short film.
